Herb’s Blog, Herbdate 22942 – 1031

My dear and beloved Fans, Friends, Fiends, Foes, Frogs, Foundlings, Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, Children of All Ages, and Creatures From All Galaxies,

Here’s the haps:

Been working on a practice for a play type of thing we’re doing at church but I still want to make a post. *crunch* goes my time. A joke I thought was worth recycling and a couple of memes.

A Brief History Of Medicine

“Doctor, I have an earache.”
2000 BC – “Here, eat this root.”
1000 BC – “That root is heathen, say this prayer.”
1850 AD – “That prayer is superstition, drink this potion.”
1940 AD – “That potion is snake oil, swallow this pill.”
1985 AD – “That pill is ineffective, take this antibiotic.”
2000 AD – “That antibiotic is artificial. Here, eat this root!”
