Here’s the haps:
Today is Sunday so you won’t get much from me tonight. Sunday is my day to work in the Kingdom of God, teaching Sunday School and running the media projector. Praying, studying the Bible (I’ve read it completely through, early, again this year), eating, and napping are the other things I do on Sunday. I believe in giving the first fruits of my time to God and have never wavered on the point. I made up my mind a long time ago that nothing was worth my time with God and his Kingdom and his children.
I have friends who do the same with Saturdays and have had friends who do it from sundown Friday to Sundown Saturday. To me, the important thing is that you do it. The Creator of the Universe is worthy of at least that much.

You have developed an admirable practice. I don’t think I have attained your level, but have tried very hard to set Sunday apart as The Lord’s Day, and the one day I will not go into the office (barring a red-hot emergency). I will confess that because I have a Church attendance option of early Saturday evening, I often go that route instead of going out Sunday morning.
But you’re doing something instead of nothing.
