So, I am on the mend and feeling pretty not-too-awful. I was able to drink coffee this morning and eat a jimmy Dean Stuffed Hash Brown which was a good start. Thank you all for the kind words and prayers. I’m still not hittin’ on all eight but I am definitely feeling so much better. I will leave you with this:

‘Hittin’ on all eight’ – I really like that. You know I’m gonna steal it sometime? Pleased you’re at least up to seven.
lol. You can use it all you want. I think it may be a colloquialism from where I’m from because said it all the time for both mental and physical health. “He ain’t hittin’ on all eight.”
These days it’s hard to find a car with eight cylinders.
lol, that’s true. But I never heard anyone say, “He ain’t hittin’ on all four today.”
Yeah. It just doesn’t have the same ring.

It’s interesting the process of getting better. Sometimes it doesn’t seem like it’s even happening. Happily, the last cold I had wasn’t so bad.
This didn’t last too long, just a day or two but man, was I sick.
Glad you’re feeling better. I didn’t know you had any cylinders? Maybe if you change the oil you’ll feel even better
