We have been using the Youversion Bible App for a long time. You can have the Bible read to you or you can read it online, or download some versions to read when you don’t have a connection. On the Home Page you can see where others are at in their reading, if they choose and you can also see their highlights, notes and comments. This is all by individual choice determined by your settings. It’s a useful tool and sometimes very enlightening.

My good friend from church, Scott W, highlighted Isaiah 26:20 from the NLT and since today is the first day of Colorado being officially “locked down” I thought it was pretty funny when I read it. So I made this verse image (The misplaced apostrophe was in the Youversion version, so I didn’t correct it):

Go home, my people,
and lock your doors!
Hide yourselves for a little while
until the Lord’s anger has passed. Isaiah 26:20 NLT

  1. That is brilliant. I enjoy using different translations. Obviously, you have to be careful, but it helps give a different perception of the scripture.

I like comments and try to respond to them all if I can:
