I’ve made this commitment to writing something here and already I can see myself falling into the same trap as I did before. I can’t think of something to write about and think, “Well, I guess it can wait a day or two. I’d rather have something interesting or important to say than to just put anything up.” And days slip into weeks and time marches on and then it’s, “Has it really been over a year since I posted something?”
I don’t want to let that happen again. I have several books full of writing prompts and writing websites to visit, So I’m thinking I should fire this muse:
And try another one. The original purpose of this blog was to exercise my writing. Writing a little bit each day if that was all I had. So, if my muse won’t get off their phone, I might have to take action:
And say, Buh-bye old muse.

I know, right?
I’ve been a bad blogger recently but I gots excuses, man! Don’t sweat it. Sometimes it’s the small stuff that reads more interestingly than you think it will. So maybe some of that.
