To be fair, 2021 wasn’t really much better than 2020, and didn’t even have the advantage of a few relatively easy months (pre-pandemic). And some people will still be saying nonsense like, “Two-Thousand Twenty-Two.”
It occurs to me that years with 3 identical digits are rare. After 1999 and 2000, is this our last until 2111? Maybe not “our” last, because I’m not planning on being there.
But that’s not as exciting as being less than a week behind in my blog reading!
