Here’s the haps:
I was talking with one of the real people that I was telling you about the other day and found out that, even though she signed up over a month ago, got the confirmation e-mail and everything, she never received a post or a link or anything else. She was really disappointed and said, “I see you haven’t been posting in your blog very much.” At first, I thought she meant because I have left off the daily post idea for a while but no, she hadn’t gotten any updates since December 10th. So she missed the last 6 entries. I hope I have it fixed now. If you don’t get this e-mail tell me. Hahaha.
I’m thinking of trying Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday with bonus posts thrown in as something comes up. I’m going to shoot for around ten o’clock pm, Mountain Standard Time, known to some as UTC/GMT -7. This will give me time to schedule some posts out in advance and work on the really good ones in detail. Plus it will help me get in time for my other writing projects.
In other news, Mrs. Herb and I tested negative for ol’ Covey but daughter tested positive. The upshot to that is that she does have a number of medical types watching out for (hovering o’er?) her. You really are the most kind and caring audience a blogger could wish for and I will try to keep you up-to-date on her haps as is appropriate.
And remember, the good book says, “If at first you don’t succeed, then skydiving definitely isn’t for you!”

Please let your daughter know she has my prayers. From what you’ve said about her before, I know she’s a trooper — but she and Mrs. Herb and you did not need this as you people have had some hard months recently. I will be looking for your updates.
