Everyone needs a rubber chicken. One of the most useful items on my desk, it is a great inspiration. This one’s name is Ralph. Ralph Rubberchicken. He has been a great friend and boon companion. He is also a good listener. He is also a friend, playmate, and companion to several of my grandchildren. My 2-year-old granddaughter said, “He needs Papa’s boots.” And so:

What the heck does one use a rubber chicken for? You can’t eat it…

If you take that chicken by the neck with one hand and the feet with the other and pull real hard, you can see him a little longer.
