I Didn’t Have A Title Until I Said, “I Miss President Trump”

Here’s the haps:

The Russian Bear, referred to in Biblical prophecy as just “the Bear” and as “Gog and Magog” are just going to be left unchallenged except by the fierce determination of the Ukrainian people. We, as the supposed leaders of the free world and the champions of Democracy, do not have a leader amongst us who will stand up to this bully. I miss President Trump. Oh, I might concede that his manners and statements are vulgar but he understood the purpose of having a strong military and not being afraid to use it. He also would not have abandoned eighty billion dollars worth of weaponry to our sworn enemy. But the more I think about capost2k‘s comment the other day that impeaching Sleepy Joe would leave us with President Harris the more I wonder. Even if we could throw her and Joe out at the same time we would wind up with President Pelosi which, as I typed it, made me throw up in my mouth a little.

Well, we shall continue to pray and be thankful for the French Foreign Legion and groups of mercenaries who are going to try to help the battle. If it is ordained of God and is a fulfillment of End-Time prophecy, then that is what will be but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be praying. And no matter what happens we have set the stage for a strong world leader, the Antichrist, to come on the scene. This whole situation makes a one-world government seem logical and right.

I got to thinking about a prediction I made on the Republican debates the first night. I should have been blogging back then instead of slumping. Out of twenty candidates, one was the loudest and most vulgarly spoken and I said, “He is the only one up there who can defeat Hillary.” The others were too nice, too political to beat her. And he kept or worked to keep, many of his campaign promises. He’s been out of office for two years and the Democrats are still blaming stuff on him.

This one is dated but the point still stands

    • “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and he will make straight your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6
“You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.” Isaiah 26:3
LauraBelle, combine these two references and you have an excellent recipe for sleeping well at night, without fear.

      • capost2k – I know where I’m going when I breathe my last breath. Thank you for the scripture! My fear is more so for my 18 grandchildren (ages ranging from 24 years to 5 months) and what will take place in the coming days, weeks, months, years …

  1. If Trump had been in power, he would have let Putin do whatever he wanted. There is no question in my mind about that. He didn’t stand up to Putin in any way at all. Trump saying he told Putin that if he invaded the Ukraine, the U.S. would come after Moscow, I am certain, is just another Trump lie. You can bet Trump doesn’t even know where Ukraine is on the map, nor does he care. I am eternally grateful that Biden is in the WH, and he has done a great deal to strengthen the UN and get strong sanctions in place. He is wise not to get into a shooting war with Russian because Putin is unpredictable. Furthermore, Biden doesn’t spend all his time watching television and whining. He actually reads the daily briefings that haven’t been dumbed down. I could go on and on, but you get the drift. 😊 No question, we are diametrically opposed when it comes to this subject — but I’m still a fan!

    • We will never know 100% what Trump would have done if this happened during his time. What we DO know is that this has NOT happened on his watch. But, I understand that some people see only what they want to see.

  2. Regarding Trump’s “worship” of Putin, one can admire a foe without agreeing with him. Trump recognizes that Putin grabbed and holds tremendous power and wields it like a skilled chess player. Putin would never have considered invading while Trump was president because of fear that Trump COULD be even crazier than Putin… which may be true.
Trump was at times his own worst enemy, giving his opponents solid grounds for ridicule. However, the left has Biden in its pocket and is playing him like a fiddle, just as Putin is doing, just as Xi will soon do when China invades Taiwan, and all the US will do is slap a couple wrists economically of people whose ONLY concern is ideology.
All that said, a professor of World Civilizations in college (who happened to be a devout Christ-follower) said that international politics is one of the most childish and ineffective venues for human endeavor. In these trying times, we need to remember “the Most High rules the kingdom of men and gives it to whom he will and sets over it the lowliest of men.” Daniel 4:17

    • “Trump was at times his own worst enemy, giving his opponents solid grounds for ridicule.” Goes to show how ‘smart’ we are and what we care about… *shakes head and weeps*

  3. These are dark times. I voted to give Trump a second term because he was the first President in my lifetime who didn’t start a war, and that seemed like an empirically good thing. Not gonna say I told you so, but yeah I kinda told you so.

That second to last meme though. Lolz.

  4. Wow! I said the same when Trump made that speech! Trump is a true leader and to be a leader requires that you have the guts to speak your mind and make decisions that aren’t popular. Many people, like the Left, for instance, are like spoiled, insolent children who throw tantrums when they don’t get their way. And it’s refreshing that Trump didn’t respond to any of their games. Thank you for posting, Herb! ❤🤍💙

  5. Honestly, President Trump let us down, too. Maybe his family was threatened, I don’t know. He faced constant pushback before President Biden’s “election” anyway.
