NaBloPoMo Day 17 – Streakin’ Again

Herb’s Blog, Herbdate 22566 – 879

Here’s the haps:

The past several times I used the WordPress reader to check blogs and read and respond to and leave comments I was greeted by this little graphic from WP. It seems like I get one almost every day but I have been too busy to notice for sure.

I have another story or two from the Art Vegan universe. This time it will feature his friend, Joe Burger, and a new business venture he has. I already know what I am going to say but I need to find some time to sit down and write it. I used to get by on 4 hours of sleep years ago but that’s been a while ago. I’m going to say that those days are pretty much gone. I just need to prioritize and/or re-prioritize some things. Although to be fair to me, there have been a lot of things that have gone on in the last couple of days and weeks.

I thought I would share a few more of my favorite memes with you and I discovered that my tastes don’t vary much so a pitfall I discovered in doing this is that I tend to want to repeat myself. I went back and looked at which ones I did before and I think I have weeded them out. I apologize if I’ve doubled up on any in this post. I only kind of sort of apologize if you’ve seen them before because, I mean, well, the very nature of Internet memes is that they’re all over. I could easily have done 17 for the 17-day streak but I feel better about limiting myself to 6 or 7. Many, but not all, of these, were gleaned from cleanmemes.com

And remember to always say the word “mucho” around your Spanish-speaking friends. It means a lot to them.

  1. I wasn’t able to leave a comment here today without filling in my email address. Normally I can click on the ‘W’ symbol below your comment box and Jetpack connects me that way. Some days I can’t leave a like on your site either, though I could today.
A WordPress Happiness Engineer suggested that maybe your site needs to reconnect to Jetpack. https://jetpack.com/support/reconnecting-reinstalling-jetpack/
I can’t pretend to understand any of this because my account is still a wordpress.com account, which doesn’t give me the ability to do anything with Jetpack.
