Blogging A – Z Challenge 2021 Starts Tomorrow – No Foolin’

Herb March 31, 2021

Herb’s Blog, Herbdate 22335 – 802:

Here’s the haps:

As I read “James Proclaims” post today he mentioned the “Blogging A – Z Challenge.” There is a website for it and I originally found it on the Insecure Writers Support Group website but I don’t want to sign up because I don’t want to commit to reading any more blogs than I already do. I have difficulty reading everyone I follow and would never be able to do that if they all were consistent. The event happens every year and I did try it in 2015 with near success; I did 23 posts for it. Since I am trying to get back into the swing of writing daily again I think this would be as good a jumping-off point as any. I couldn’t find any “official” theme, which is probably just as well. James is going to do a music theme again this year but that’s not really me. Mine will likely be a general hodge-podge as per the usual. Religion and the Bible, Politics, Patriotism, Life, Books, Stories, Poems, Awards and whatever other miscellany enters my noggin while staring at a blank page.

  1. Hmm – Altoids, Zagnut, I wonder if there’s a widely available candy brand for each letter. Your plan sounds more manageable.

    1. I haven’t forgotten about it or dropped it completely. There’s that one and the Herb Thinks I’m Special award. I just have to get life back into a sort of rhythm thingy.

      1. Yes, I strongly encourage you to do that, to complete A-Z, to harvest your thoughts, to shine brightly Out West and Out East and Out everywhere.

  2. As of today, I’m not even officially unofficially participating, possibly for the first time since 2012. I wanted to possibly do another story theme, but have too much else I am working on. Don’t want to get in the way of that.
