Burial Was Today

I want to thank everyone for their support, not just with money but with time spent in prayer for our family and for everything that everyone did. We buried Grandma Pike today. She loved people and she loved church with an uncanny tenacity and will be sorely missed.

I will have more to say in the days to come, I think, but right now I am feeling a bit tired. If you are in The Springs or have a loved one here, I can tell you my opinion of where not to go and who not to use.

But not wishing to end on a sour, negative note, I cannot say how thankful to God I am to have the church community, a good and honest pastor and a bishop who will go to the mat for you if you have been wronged and he knows you are in the right. I cannot imagine having dealt with any of this alone.
